However, jewellery is a physical product and slight variations may occur.

Natural Variations

Natural gemstones may contain variations in colour, tone, pattern, inclusions, texture and other characteristics. These variations are part of the individual nature of natural materials and are not necessarily considered defects.

Similarly, handcrafted, hand-finished and certain specialty jewellery-making processes may result in subtle differences between pieces.

Moissanite & Other Stones

Where a Maison Maya design contains moissanite, natural gemstones or other stones, the applicable material will be identified in the product description.

Customers should review the individual product specifications before purchasing.

Gold Vermeil, Plated & Sterling Silver Jewellery

Gold vermeil, gold-plated and sterling silver jewellery may naturally change in appearance over time.

The longevity of a finish depends on factors including frequency of wear, exposure to water and chemicals, skin chemistry, friction, storage and jewellery-care practices.

Gradual fading, tarnishing, oxidation or wear resulting from normal use is not necessarily considered a manufacturing defect.

Product Images

We make every reasonable effort to display product colours, finishes and details accurately. However, the appearance of jewellery may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, screen settings and device displays.

4. Availability & Limited Quantities

Certain Maison Maya designs may be produced or offered in limited quantities.

Adding an item to your cart does not necessarily reserve that item. A purchase is not complete until the checkout process has been successfully completed and payment has been authorized.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, restrict availability or introduce new collections at our discretion, subject to applicable law.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include cancellation and refund of the affected item.

Once production of a customized or made-to-order item has begun, the order may not be cancelled.

Customized, personalized, altered and certain made-to-order pieces may be final sale and ineligible for return or exchange, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

10. Shipping & Delivery

Returned jewellery must be unworn, unused, undamaged and returned in its original condition with the required original packaging and accompanying materials.

Customized, personalized, altered, made-to-order and final-sale items may not be eligible for return or exchange.

13. Warranty, Repairs & Jewellery Care

Maison Maya stands behind the craftsmanship of its jewellery.

If you believe your jewellery contains a manufacturing defect, please contact Maison Maya with your order information and photographs of the issue so that it may be assessed.

Manufacturing defects do not ordinarily include:

• Normal wear and tear

• Gradual wear or fading of vermeil or plated finishes

• Sterling silver tarnishing or oxidation

• Scratches resulting from wear

• Accidental damage

• Damage caused by improper storage or care

• Exposure to chemicals, perfumes, chlorine or inappropriate cleaning products

• Lost jewellery or stones resulting from accidental damage

• Damage caused by third-party alteration or repair

Repair availability depends on the nature of the piece, the damage and the availability of necessary materials or components.
